Vaporetto Prosecco is a crisp and lively sparkling wine made from the Glera grape. Vaporetto Prosecco is made in the Prosecco DOC zone by the Bisol family.
Vaporetto Prosecco - named for the famous water taxis of Venice – is produced by the Bisol family, who have been making wine in the territory of Conegliano/Valdobiaddene since 1542, with 21 generations of direct succession. This is the zone now legally entitled to the Prosecco DOC; the grape formerly known as Prosecco is now called Glera. Vaporetto Prosecco is 100% Glera; the wine is made by the charmat or tank-fermented method which is traditional in the region. It is aromatic and fruity but tastes bone dry, with lime leaf, peach and melon flavours, and a crisp, clean, and lingering finish. The bowling pin bottle shape and vintage label are as cool as the wine. Perfetto for aperitif time, or pair with simple seafood pasta.
