The Naramata Bench is home to this stylish, substantial Cabernet Franc. Notes of cassis, raspberry, chocolate, inky graphite and leafy green are diagnostic for Cab Franc, and brisk acidity and racy red flavours bring the stamp of the Okanagan. A year and a half in French oak casks supports the expressive fruit, but does not overwhelm. A very warm vintage, a sloped vineyard planted to maturing vines, and winemaker Gavin Miller’s intuitive touch with this grape are evident in each delicious glass. Renowned cheesemaker Shana Miller suggests you pair her King Cole cheese, or try with herb-marinated grilled lamb chops.
