Terre del Barolo
Terre del Barolo is nestled in the valley between Alba and Borolo. Started by Arnaldo Rivera as a cooperative in 1958, the winery has grown to 650 hectares and includes approximately 400 growers. Thirty-eight thousand hectolitres of wine, produced from 5,500 tons of grapes, is the annual yield for the collective. This staggering amount breaks down into a variety of wines, including Nebbiolo d’Alba, Chardonnay, Freisa and Grignolino. Grinzane Cavour, Serralunga, Monforte d’Alba, Diano d’Alba, Barolo, and Novello villages are included in the long list of growers. Despite its storied history, the collective gains strength every year by refining its techniques.
