Producing premium quality wine is far from easy. David Tate, the proprietor and winemaker at TATE Wine, knows this all too well. British Columbian by birth, David is no stranger to world-class wine. He took his degree in Enology and Viticulture and applied it to the field, working as the assistant winemaker at none other than Ridge Vineyards. David cultivated his commitment to quality, not only in California, but also in Australia, France and New Zealand. Suzanne Tate took a leap of faith into the wine industry and, after 5 years of work in Houston, had a fortuitous meeting with David. Together, they opened TATE and are into their 5th harvest. Despite its small size, TATE Wine specializes in producing high quality Merlot, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
