Stag’s Hollow started with 10 acres of vineyard in 1992. Following its first crush, it became officially established in 1995. Since then, under the guidance of winemaker Dwight Sick and proprietors Larry Gerelus and Linda Pruegger, it has expanded its holdings into the Hollow, a patch of land rich with stony glacial fluvial soils. The further addition at Shuttleworth Creek vineyard has presented the opportunity to explore Pinot Noir-friendly terroir in Okanagan Falls. Stag’s Hollow is much admired for planting Spanish grapes Tempranillo and Garnacha, and for their top flight Renaissance range which captures the essence of both grape and vineyard site.
