Floral, rich, and luscious are ideal words used to describe this cuvée of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir by Sophora. Home is the pristine growing conditions of New Zealand’s North Island in the Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay districts. Here a classically cool climate with maritime influences results in grapes achieve optimum balance between fruit flavour, acidity and sweetness. After carefully blending Chardonnay and Pinot Noir together, the bottles are laid to rest in Sophora’s cellars for at least 12 months where yeasty complexity develops. This elegant cuvée should be enjoyed with oysters on the half shell or with your bestie.
