Pentage Winery produces stylish wines through a sensitive, minimalist approach. The goal every year remains the same: produce well-balanced wines that carry elegance and convey excellence. Paul Gardner and Julie Rennie have always understood this goal, be it during the nascent stages of winery’s construction, or entering the 20th year of operation. From the vines to the bottling, the duo has continued to apply the same hands-on philosophy to winemaking. Pentage opened its second vineyard a decade after the first, designing a horizontally divided canopy using Geneva Double Curtain trellis system. An assortment of dry white and red wines, including Viognier, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, plus a coveted Lieutenant Governor’s award for Syrah.
