Parker Coonawarra Estate
Established in 1985 by John and Faye Parker, the family-owned Parker Coonawarra Estate is committed to the founder’s standards of excellence, and to producing expressive wines that convey the essence of Coonawarra. The celebrated iron-red Terra Rossa soils of the region gives life to wines of outstanding character, quality and longevity. The winemaking philosophy at Parker Coonawarra Estate pays respect and tribute to these unique soils, in the hands of Phil Lehmann. Phil is the son of the late, great wine legend Peter Lehmann, and brings experience from Burgundy, Napa and Stellenbosch to the Parker Coonawarra Estate wines. The 20 hectare vineyard is predominantly what has proved best in Coonawarra: Cabernet Sauvignon, with little pockets of Merlot and Petit Verdot.
