Domaine Laroche was a pioneer, an heir to the Cistercian monks during a time without vineyard delimitation or classification. Dating back to 1850, the winery was connected to the development of Chablis, and over a century later it strives to bring out the true character of Chablis through innovation. In the last 20 years, Domaine Laroche has sought out terroirs with exceptional growing capability, including Languedoc, Chili and South Africa. Laroche’s various estates manage both vineyard and winery, and employ techniques that allow for steady development. Hand pruning, grape testing and pressing, and ecological insights come together in a harmonious method for grape expression. Everything done by Domaine Laroche is accomplished through the undying spirit of discovery.
