Not far from Keremeos, BC, Corcelettes is a Swiss, family-run vineyard specializing in small-lot wines. One example? Their Chasselas.
This Swiss variety is fermented and aged in French oak puncheons, giving it a citrus nose with sweet, spicy undertones. Expect a palate enrichened by long lees content, offset with vigorous acidity. Green apple notes lead to a long finish. This wine is from a limited run of 45 cases, and sturdy enough for pasta, grilled fish or Swiss cheese fondue.
