Clot de l'Oum
Clot de l'Oum means hill of the elm in Catalan. This esteemed project started in 2001 in the first slopes of the Pyrenees around the village of Bélesta in the Roussillon. The vineyards are situated in altitudes between 400 and 600 metres on high-quality granite, gneiss and schist soils. Clot de l’Oum farms old vineyards of Carignan, Grenache Noir, Gris and Blanc, Syrah and Macabeu. Organic management started in 2001, and biodynamic methods have been used since 2009. Fresh, minerally, complex and fascinating, Clot de l’Oum wines are an authentic reflection of terroir.
