Château Le Puy
Château Le Puy overlooks the magnificent Dordogne Valley on Bordeaux’ Right Bank. Situated on a high slope on the same geological plateau as Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, the terroir of this 35-hectare estate is comprised of high-quality clay and limestone soils. Deeply rooted in history, the estate dates back to the early 1600s and has enjoyed the continuous stewardship of the Amoreau family. Representing the fifteenth generation at Château le Puy, three Amoreau brothers tend the grapes following exacting biodynamic principles, and make the wines with minimal intervention. Château Le Puy primarily grows Merlot and Semillon with small pockets of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Carmenere.
