Bott Geyl’s Métiss is a four-grape blend from suyy Alsace. Try with pate or delicate seafood. Bott Geyl is an esteemed family wine domaine in Alsace, France.
Domaine Bott-Geyl have been tending vines since 1795 in the best sites in Alsace. This north eastern patch of France lies at the 47th latitude, but the Vosges Mountains shelter the vineyards from chilly and damp Atlantic weather, making Alsace one of the sunniest and driest parts of the country. Alsatian wines are generally white, and there is a noble tradition of blending grapes into charming and expressive wines. That’s exactly what Métiss accomplishes, entwining Muscat, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chasselas into a perfumed, dry blend. Floral, citrus, and peach flavours are intense, and the palate has fresh and crisp finale. Pair with simple country pate, or cheese fondue.
