Paper Road Pinot Noir bottle

Wairarapa was one of the first regions in New Zealand to gain an international reputation for Pinot Noir. The south end of New Zealand's North Island is the home of Paddy Borthwick and his small winery. The cool, breezy climate and complex free draining soils create an ideal place for the fussiest of red grapes. Generations of farming have tuned Paddy into the rhythms of the vineyards, and this nicely developed 6-year-old Pinot Noir combines pure red berried fruit, savoury spice and proper Pinot gutsy flair. Match this mid-weight red’s gamey, earthy nature with grilled duck sausages, good charcuterie or a few juicy grilled lamb chops.
