The 2014 Pinot Gris by Blue Mountain is sourced from 28-year-old vines, and blends two French clones. Aromas of rich citrus and mandarin orange grace the nose, while flavours of orange, lemon and Okanagan sagebrush form a riveting palate. Citrus, apple, and a spicy nip provide a perfect accent on a lengthy finish. Pork chops and apples, steamed ginger fish, or prosciutto-wrapped grilled peaches are fine pairings.
