Anthonij Rupert is comprised of four main farms, each exhibiting the uniqueness of this South African winery. L’Ormarins, located in the Franschhoek area, goes from low-lying lands to steep slopes, and includes a variety of plantings, such as Syrah, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. The Elandskloof-based Altima was bought in 2008, and was converted from apple orchards to vineyards. The high altitudes produce snow on the vineyards, and its continental climate leads to variability in day and night temperatures. Riebeeksrivier is located on Kasteelberg’s slopes, and its history dates back to the 1700s, while the 120 hectare Rooderust farm rounds out the group with dependable and high-quality production.
