Limoux is a region in the wilds of France’s Languedoc. Since the 1600s sparkling wine has been made here from local grapes, making it one of the earliest centres for sparkling wine production in France. Antech Limoux is one of the region’s largest and most dedicated producers. Their story begins more than six generations ago in Saint-Hilaire where the Tisseyre-Limouzy families cultivated the family vineyard. At the turn of the 20th century, Eugenie LiImouzy, was one of the first women of the Languedoc to run a vineyard. Today, Georges and Roger Antech manage the house with the same philosophy of generations ago: to preserve history, to combine tradition and modernity, and to develop exceptional wines. Antech Limoux produces authentic, lively sparkling cuvées.
